February 22, 2024 - ocilion is expanding its content offering with an HD premium channel: DF1 is now available on the IPTV platform in Germany. DF1 went live on January 1, 2024 and took over the broadcast slot from Servus TV Deutschland. The new free TV channel shows licensed formats from ServusTV, in-house productions in the area of entertainment and premium live sports such as the PENNY DEL, Formula E, tennis tournaments and numerous other exclusive sports rights that are distributed in cooperation with DAZN.
Thanks to numerous additional rights, the content can not only be viewed live, but also with a time delay with a recording function, 7-day replay and pause/play. The license agreement includes the rights for both IPTV and DVB-C distribution.
