4 November 2025 – ocilion presents the next generation UI6 user interface for its white-label IPTV service for network operators. The modern user interface impresses with its maximum user-friendliness, intuitive operating concepts, innovative content discovery, versatile content promotion options and intelligent voice search. With UI6, customers benefit from extensive branding options for a customised UI for each network operator. The new user interface will not only be available on the new P610 set-top box, but also on the existing P500 and P400 series in the future, offering maximum investment security for existing devices.
Ocilion ensures a smooth transition for migration to the new product generation. Existing integrations can be used without any adaptation effort due to the unchanged interfaces. Network operators benefit as usual from the high flexibility and stability of the platform. In addition to numerous new features, the new product generation offers comprehensive data protection, automated self-service and upselling functions (e.g. for channel packages, storage or VoD content), standardised APIs for seamless CRM integration and provisioning, as well as comprehensive online tools for configuration, monitoring, operation and reporting.
To provide these services, ocilion is currently investing heavily in the technical infrastructure of its data centres. This expansion will enable ocilion to increase the performance, capacity and security of its systems.
At the same time, ocilion is launching its sixth generation of set-top boxes (including the new UI6 user interface from launch) with the P610 model and is now supplying its existing customers with the latest devices. The P610 set-top box runs on the Google Android TV operating system and, thanks to the Android TV Operator Tier programme, offers the complete flexibility of a white-label IPTV solution as usual: Network operators receive their individually branded IPTV product with a customised user interface and a variety of pre-installed premium apps – including Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube and many other popular streaming services and media libraries.
The P610 set-top box impresses with its powerful Amlogic 905X5M chip, generous memory and support for WiFi6, Bluetooth 5.2, 4K, HDR, Dolby Vision® and Dolby Atmos®. It delivers maximum performance while remaining highly energy-efficient – both in operation and in standby mode. The remote control was developed in collaboration with Austrian premium manufacturer ruwido.
