March 22, 2022 – In recent months, ocilion has directly concluded numerous license agreements with large broadcasting groups. This means that the IPTV provider can now offer network operators, municipal utilities and energy suppliers in Germany a comprehensive HD program package from a single source. This includes 22 free TV channels in pin-sharp HD quality. Additional time-shifted functions such as replay (for watching past programs), restart (for restarting programs that are already running), pause function or nPVR (for recordings in the network instead of on local storage) apply to most of the channels for more flexibility in use.
The included premium metadata (images, series information, etc.) enable a visually appealing presentation in the user interface. Network operators in Germany can obtain the new HD channel package immediately, and a comparable package will be available in Austria over the next few months.
