February 3, 2022 - ocilion has reached an agreement with SPORT1 for the distribution of SPORT1 HD, SPORT1+ HD, and eSPORTS1 HD. This means that the entire SPORT1 station portfolio will be available in the future via the IPTV platform for network operators in Germany and Austria. All three channels are equipped with attractive additional functions such as 7-day replay, restart, recording (nPVR), and pause/play.
The free TV channel SPORT1 HD offers its viewers international sports highlights, including high-class football (such as live broadcasts of top games in the 2nd Bundesliga and the DFB Cup), attractive motorsport series, darts competitions from the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC ) with the darts world championship as the annual highlight, ice hockey with the ice hockey world championship and the Champions Hockey League (CHL) as well as other core sports such as basketball, volleyball, US sports, and eSports. The pay-TV channel SPORT1+ HD shows the stars of international football as well as top international ice hockey and the prestigious Major League Baseball (MLB). eSports fans find their home at eSPORTS1 HD: 24/7 eSports with 1,200 hours of live content on the titles Dota 2, CS:GO, Rocket League, Overwatch, Hearthstone, and FIFA, regular magazine broadcasts, analyses and insights from eSports Experts, and many other specials.

The 24/7 program of the pay-TV channel includes at least 1,200 live hours of top-class international and national eSports events as well as highlight programs and self-produced magazines. The program content is curated, edited, and presented by our own eSports editorial team together with experts and influencers from the German-speaking eSports community.
